Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and melanoma prognosis — Gómez-Olivas 2023 CHEST prospective multicenter study (n=443): untreated moderate OSA aHR 2.45 (95% CI 1.09–5.49) and untreated severe OSA aHR 2.96 (95% CI 1.36–6.42) for composite melanoma endpoint (recurrence + metastasis + death) vs no OSA; CPAP-adherent OSA aHR 1.66 (95% CI 0.71–3.9; NS) — excess prognostic risk abolished by CPAP adherence.
