Polypodium leucotomos extract (PLE) — evidence-check of the cloud-loop BIB398 "ADD PLE" proposal: surrogate-endpoint photoprotection RCT data is consistent + safety excellent, but ZERO human cancer-prevention evidence. Verdict: reasonable low-cost/low-risk ADJUNCT to (never a substitute for) topical SPF + behaviour; do NOT frame as melanoma/skin-cancer prevention — same discipline as nicotinamide/vitD/aspirin.
